I popped into Centro to see what was happening on Saturday afternoon, and watched the start of the Desfile de Balleneras. The ‘beauties’ were announced and marched up and down on what seemed to be tables put together, and then came into smaller boats, where they removed their wraps and headed out into the harbour in their bikinis.

There were lots of boats out there waiting to greet them, and accompany them on their journey around the bay.
