I was obviously lucky with my timing in Villa de Leyva, as it was the start of the Festival of Light. There was a magnificent fireworks display that I thoroughly enjoyed, and which went on for ages. And although I’ve left, the festival continues tonight and tomorrow.

My photos of the fireworks didn’t come out so well, so the photo is of the church in the main square, which as you can see is lit up for the festival.
